Ben wants to have a friendlies the first weekend of June.

"I think we should host a little CoMo/STL friendlies in celebration of Missouri making waves in Bloomington."

In addition, its Francis' birthday weekend, and Little Jon needs to go east to celebrate his HS graduation.

meh... sounds lame.

Just kidding by the way. I'd be there if I could, for sure. Missouri needs to play together more. We could get so much better between the two of us all competing together more often.

I do want to get this going again. Who could forget the great memories of the past trips. Beer showers, 6 guys and 6 bikes in a station wagon, getting black out drunk and thrown out of a punk palace, and the polo. That said I already have plans that weekend. Push it back one more and I am in.

aaron hand and myself have been talking about getting a friendlies going this summer. i'd like to involve KC and i've been talking to a few people in springfield who have been playing/are getting started. that said, i third the push it back a weekend!

Some of the crew was talking last night and thought maybe the weekend of the 4th? In July? I so badly want to play polo and party with those kick ass STL guys soon but June is packed full of birthdays and weddings.

I work the 11th 12th so I'll be missing it.... however, the 11th is my bday, so maybe I could get to STL saturday after work and be back in COMO for sunday work... but that sounds dangerous.

I'll talk to my ma soon. I'm pretty sure a majority of us can crash at my parents' place in West County. She likes to host/have company/parties. Pool, hot tub and fire pit. We could go Friday evening.

STL guys, you'd be welcome to party with us too and stay the night. Then we could all drive east to Mt. Pleasant park on Saturday.

colleen and katherine- we can do the 11th if we make it back to como saturday night! katherine's wedding brunch/bachelorette party is sunday the 12th. I WANNA GO!

So nobody likes the idea of partying poolside at my parents' place? Two cases of PBR to start things off, courtesy of my dad.

I understand we are going to STL and therefore want to maximize our time with the STL crew, but it's not that out of the way. It's on our way and only 20 minutes or so for the South City dwellers for one night of inebriation, pool and hot tub fun.

Plus only my dad will be home, optimizing bed/couch space. I think a bed, a futon, and two couches are available.

Just thought I'd offer a cheaper alternative to bars with just as much potential for fun.

Saturday, I'm all for South City/Dogtown/bachelor party shenanigans. Since i have to drive, I might remain sober and crash at my parents' anyway. That way, only I would be doing the extra driving.

I am sorry but not sure if we are going. If we do, we plan to leave straight from my work @2, putting us @ my parent @ 4-430 so we can have a bite to eat with them before heading to the park 545-615 for the play.
The problem is making sure whoever rode with us was ready to leave before 2 and then after getting to STL had a ride to the courts not thru us. We are on such a tight time frame and it's my birthday so it is more important to me to see my family and do what I want then getting extra people to polo, unless I was playing too.... And there is the problem with getting back to COMO? I work @ 1145 Sunday so we would have to leave @ 9am, meaning 'whoever' would have to be @ my parents house @ 845, no later. I am not willing to ask Tim to drive around the city to find you guys and risk my ass being late to work because the person riding with us is still drunk and not prepared go (which I expect from all of you if you did it right!). Christian, why cant you fit 5? How do you guys plan to get 4 bikes down there?
I think it sucks not more people can make this weekend, but Tim A just had to have his way. So blame him.

Christian's car is pretty small and my rack can only fit three bikes. But yeah, I always have to have my way and don't forget...I'M ALWAYS RIGHT!!!

Well, we can't haul people down there for it :( so it will just be you 4 unless another group of people decide they can go. But wait, isnt it just 3 of you? Christian, Tim, Nick? You guys, honestly, cant fit him in the car? Wasnt there 4 in that car for Lawrence? That is a lame since Tim D fit 5! in his car on the way to and back from Madison, a ride that take 5 times longer and in a two door car. I understand about the rack... kind of.

Yeah we only had a rack for three bikes. So...

there was small talk of people wanting to party and friendly over 4th of july weekend in stl. is this still something that people are interested in? if so i can drive and bring 3 bikes and about 4 people, or 2 people and a dog, or 3 people and a cat, or nobody and just bring my ginormous sex robot....

of course, this will only happen if that rumor about stl hosting over the 4th is true...

Why dont we host one for the 4th weekend? I think it would be best to decide this week what weekend we would be willing to host just to give everyone a heads help to plan around. The later we wait the less likely out of towners can make the event.

Yim Yom, what is STL saying? I think the 9th would be good, exactly a month after they hosted and it gives almost 3 weeks to plan for it. STL, whatchal think?

So far there are only 3 of us going to lex and personally I don't think it'd be worth it if there aren't more people going. If that weekend works best for everyone else I would much rather save on gas money and fees and just do a friendlies. Whatever is best for the majority!

Tim D and I would be out for that weekend, family reunion stuff :( However, that doesnt mean it cant be hosted that weekend. Also, if you guys want to go to Lex go! It is always a blast, and wont be disappointing.

Why not the 9th? Doesnt seem like anyone has issues with that date. OR the 23rd? I personally vote the 9th cause that would be exactly a month after they hosted.
