I've mentioned it before. Who would be interested in a polo float trip? It will cost around $40 per person. I think the Big Piney looks like a good spot that is about 2.5 hours away from both Columbia and St. Louis.

We'd be floating on a Saturday. We could camp Friday night or drive down early Saturday Morning. Float all day Saturday and camp Saturday night. Drive home Sunday.

We're talking rafts, not canoes. Canoes cause break-ups and ruin friendships. They also won't hold enough beer. If you're seriously interested let me know. We'll probably need 10 or more people to make this possible.

What is the date? There is chatter of a float trip the end of this month, but I believe a couple people are thinking about bloomington too.

I was thinking about some time in September. Just wanted to gauge interest. We can plan around tournaments.

I am with Muskrat, those are the only two weekends that work for me and I am so down for a MO polo float trip I might barf.

Floppy is correct. NRO looked to be the cheapest. I think they even throw in two nights of camping at no extra charge. Anyone who wants to go is going to need to prepay probably via paypal or another method. I'll be in charge of getting shit reserved but can't float all of the cash. I called NRO about two weeks ago. We don't need to reserve too far in advance that late in the season.

Planning to get my CD player fixed/auxiliary cable installed. AC and music all the way.

plenty of leg and elbow room in the back plus crazy amount of space in the trunk for all of our gear and then some... i also have cd player, ipod hookup, tape player, a/c... and a crap load of awful mix cd's from the late 90s early 00s.... and a bike rack for those that wanna shred in the woods while we're out there!

I don't mind a caravan. But I loathe setting up camp in the dark if I can help it.

Floating is still on for the 24th. I just called NRO again, we won't need reservations this late in the season. Prepaying will not be necessary. They offer two free nights of camping when you pay for a float trip. 6 person rafts are $120.

Camping Friday, floating Saturday, and camping again Saturday night sounds good to me.

Gold tops are easier to see floating in the river, maybe? That's the only rationale I can think of. I hope you all have fun. Your already tiny balls will be even tinier after this freezing float trip.

The gold tops thing was a joke. Maybe a bit of advice, since it does indicate a better beer.

Kruse, go to the gas station and check it out. The top of those cans are still gold. Hell, the Stag can is all gold. You must be thinking of light beer. You can bring all the Miller Lite you want but if I drink one after mistaking it for a real beer we're gonna have an issue.

yea i know, i need to be in stl at some point sunday evening though because i have yet another doctor appt. i'm still heading back to como before i go to stl though since it's on the way.
