scoped out hickman tennis courts, looks like it is being used for temp parking as they are apparently working on the lot behind the building. bad news:
- the light switch box is now locked up, no timed lights or lights at all.
- it may have cars on it at any given time.
good news (mostly cancelled out by no lights) :
- boards already exist on one side
- newly paved
i also cruised by the columbia college campus and we would need a lot of boards, of course, and their "security" is strict about people without a student ID being on campus.
basically the search continues. i have another spot i am going to check out this week at some point, i'll post here with results!

checked out the tennis courts at campus view apts. lights but it seems like they don't work. i'll prob give it another try though.

It may be worth checking the big parking lot on the southeast corner of campus. Stadium runs down the south side and college on the east. It wouldn't be open all the time, but it seems to have big empty spots a lot of the time.

Just an idea anywho.

I meant to tell everybody this a long time ago, but remember those country club tennis courts Kruse pissed on during my first six pack shuffle? Yeah, those got razed. I noticed during a walk back in June.

Not like we could have used them/telling you this is in no way constructive. But it pisses me off.

Ugh...this is so daunting and depressing. Facing being able to play only one day a week until next summer does not sit well with me.

once it gets cold out and people stop playing tennis for the season, i bet we could play at oakland park. i know its kind of far but they have lights and during the winter/fall no one will brave the cold to play on them at night.
