x2 the winner wins, i always support that. only difference, i say you pick best shot/best goalie and pair up with their opposing forces and make it one shot apiece instead of 4. we ain't got all day. go until someone misses, if this ends at one, so be it.

i would rather not rule out the 16th with "floating" until i see some more feedback with who is going on that trip. i think it's an ideal weekend all things considered.

the way i "drew it up" allows for 3 pool play games against original opponents and your first 2 in bracket play will be original, too, guaranteeing 5 original games/games against different teams. other layouts might allow for this as well, i wouldnt know!

i threw out the idea of pool play/round robin because of its predictability. you'll know when you play/how much time until you play, just an idea. i am not really against anything at this point.

Ben, in order to avoid future Midwest fiascos you should make a trip to Como so we can work on your takedowns, that was sloppy son!

PERHAPS, but there are plenty of people who wish to have a chance to go. At this point I am hoping to set precedent. This certainly won't be the last time we are limited in our alloted slots. This playoff game will only help your case in representing COMO.

yes, this i understand but why don't you leave the alloted spots to those who are able to attend the tournament. if you, andrew and tim a. have no interest in going or prior engagements, then let the others who are able/wanting to go to form a team, Maglio, Drew, Katherine, Aimee, Annie, Nathan, anyone else.

-Once again, i think this playoff thing is an awesome idea. What i don't think is a great idea is for a CoMoPolo player to get on a team with one or two others that are unable to go but maybe want to "set a precedent" or prove a point, win this playoff and still not be able to go to the tournament he deserves to go to or would've had a chance to get a spot in with a team of 3 that is all able to attend the tournament. Your hope to set a precedent that has already been discussed/set by almost everyone in the club is a precedent that is evidently already understood. Unless you are trying to make this a playoff for all future tournaments, which i would argue isn't a good way to go about it, then your participation in it is counterproductive to what CoMo Polo is trying to do.
